This blog focuses on those unexpected but beautiful 'natural treasures',this could be a rainbow caught on film, a beautiful sea shell, fossil, feather, or even an animals skull. I enjoy outdoor crafts and this blog has plenty of ideas and D.I.Y's on making cool stuff with found objects, as well as advice on where to find these natural treasures, such as beachcombing tips and guides. I also have a range of fun outdoor activities for kids, that cost little or nothing.
Tool For Identifying Minerals
This tool allows you to compare 3 minerals, it gives all of the information needed to identify Including, pictures, MOHS hardness scale, crystal properties, and other information.
Type the mineral names that you want to compare into the search boxes and hit submit. You can use the tool to find the properties of a single mineral too, just type your mineral and leave the other boxes as they are, it will still display 3 mineral properties though, so just ignore the other two!
